About This Special Issue
The solar cell has been widely accepted as source of renewable energy, which use the sun light as energy and photo carrier generations. Similarly, the photonics devices also play very important role in the development of next generation devices. As the technology is scaling down, the complexity of the devices is also increasing and demand the improvement if the VLSI technology and Nanotechnology field.
The growing research in the field of solar cell, photonics devices, nano technology and VLSI technology are main focus of this special issue. The alternate renewable energy solutions including the Silicon and perovskite solar cells, advanced photonic devices, recent development on the field of VLSI technology and Nanotechnology including the multidisciplinary approach are highly appreciated. The modeling and simulation of the 2-D and 3-D devices like TFET, organic materials, nanodevices are also invited for the consideration.
The application part may include the clean energy solutions for the house held appliances, electric vehicle, roof top energy, smart devices, bendable materials, interdisciplinary application of VLSI Technology like image processing and filters and so on.
This special issue is focused but not limited to the area of next generation semiconductor devices. The topics can include:
