About This Special Issue
In a previous special issue "Abridging over troubled water" by the editorial board which overlaps with the present one, we have made a sound bridge over mathematical disciplines and engineering ones. In the present special issue, we will go further and assemble more engineering-oriented papers which have serious mathematical aspects. The scope of this special issue includes mathematics, physics, computer science and others which are of some mathematical flavor. The editors will try to uniformize the presentations of the papers and make it a readable book-form.
