About This Special Issue
Welcome to our Special Issue on "Modelling, Radioprotection, and Nuclear Techniques"!
Nuclear science and technology have been integral in many fields, including energy, healthcare, and environmental monitoring. This issue aims to highlight recent advances in modelling, radioprotection, and nuclear techniques that are important for a variety of applications. Modelling is a crucial tool for understanding complex systems and predicting their behavior. In nuclear science, modelling is used to simulate the behavior of nuclear reactors, the transport of radioactive materials, and the effects of radiation on biological systems. The papers in this issue will present various modelling techniques and their applications in nuclear science.
Radioprotection is the practice of minimizing the harmful effects of radiation on human health and the environment. As radiation is an intrinsic aspect of nuclear technology, radioprotection is a critical aspect of ensuring the safe use of nuclear techniques. This issue will present papers that discuss new approaches to radioprotection, including shielding, monitoring, and emergency response. Nuclear techniques have broad applications in energy production, medicine, agriculture, and environmental monitoring. This issue will present papers that explore recent advances in nuclear techniques, including nuclear imaging, radiation therapy, isotope production, and environmental monitoring.
Overall, this Special Issue on "Modelling, Radioprotection, and Nuclear Techniques" will showcase recent developments in the field of nuclear science and technology. We hope that the papers presented in this issue will inspire further research and innovation in this exciting field.
